Coaches- Have all three up and running pretty well. W are doing very well with calling the Mid & ISV at the line. the problem is getting in to OSV.
the standard run Mid @ 3t, ISV @ 1 tech. we are thinking of OSV mostly vs 50 fronts and check OSV vs. a DT in a 4 or 4i with a DE in a 9 tech. Any way you would run OSV vs an even front (6-2)?

Rebel Yell,
Yes, you can run OSV vs a 6-2. The question is does a 4-4 team want to line up in a 4-4. After all, that makes the FORCE player the DIVE KEY. That wouldn't be too smart on their part.

We would deffinetly run OV to the 6-2. The largest adjustment we usually make happens if the psDT is in a 1 tech, we can not allow a B gap run through by the playside LB. What we almost always do is scoop the DT with the center (cut him to the ground) and outside realease the guard to the pslb.
When we are running "Option on me" we tell the QB that we can run OV when both the Tackle and TE are covered. (we never run OV without a te)
