Ways a defense can defeat the Triple Option:
Get one or more defenders in the perimeter then the offense can handle.
8 man fronts: The Pitch Key will slow play the QB to Pitch and with the FS in Chase--playing QB to Pitch.
Passive Hand-off Key: the hand-off key plays FB to QB or QB to FB. Passive makes the hand-off key difficult for the QB to Read.
