I am a grandfather who has been coaching his grandson in youth football. I graduated from college in 1974. Football has changed some, but there are some basics that have not. This year he moved up to the 75LB team from the 60LB team. We are mostly going to run the ball. I love this misdirection, veer, pistol, etc. stuff. I went to a presentation by Boise State and they are doing some wild things with zone blocking.
Anyway, any suggestions on some ways to obtain some basic scripted option, veer, pistol type plays. I mean total break down of each players resonsibility for maybe one or two basic plays. I love helping the community and I will always, always love football.
