We are considering going with the flexbone next season..I was wondering if anyone here has run it with that age group?

Not just 14 year olds - we ran a true triple with nine-year-olds last year. Our fourth grade team ran out of both wishbone and flex. We ran an inside option primarily, but also did a little outside option and a bit on a midline path. I coached two teams - an A team and a B team. The A team was clearly a little further ahead - but I'm convinced that the triple can be taught and executed by nearly any age kids. I've started to compile all the things that we used to teach the option in both book and video form. I'm using it for our assistant coaches this season, but will publish someday. In the meantime though, I broke down one of the first versions of the triple that we ran last year for a TD - you can see it here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCEUFKR9tVYI wasn't sure if we could do the option. In third grade we didn't try to do the triple - the dive was called or not called in the huddle - but we did do the double option. We did well enough with it that I committed to teaching the triple for 2009. Very happy that I did, and very excited to get to work with these guys for another couple of years before they move on to junior high football.
