Hey Guys: I'll post this in passing also. I have seen a lot of 90's and early 00's Ga So and watch Navy any chance I can get (even have Stowers book). In the So Con, the hang pattern (broken off backside post to the SE that becomes a 15 yard drag) was something you would see almost everytime you played GaSo. I would see them play The Citadel (my alma mater)and Wofford. As much as I have seen Navy, I don't believe I have ever seen it completed by them. Any ideas why not? Do you use it (close to the AFA post hook) 10 years ago, Greg Hill ate everyone up by throwing it off ISV action. Is there something in 1A defenses, or QB short falls that make this pattern unfruitful? Greg the Amature

I believe they run it when they attack 1 high safety defenses. They high/low the middle deep defender with a skinny post over the top and this deep drag underneath... behind the under coverage (linebackers).
This is the 2nd read so usually the progression doesn't make it that far.
