Step by step instructions on how to get a play from playmaker to post on the message board. (All my instruction are based on a MAC but I assume Windows has a similar paint program.)
1. Pick the play you want from Playmaker Pro and copy it.
2. Open up a paint program. (I use Apple Works paint).
3. Paste the play into the paint program.
4. Click on the FILE menu of the paint program and choose "Save As"
5. A screen appears where you can choose what file to save it in and you should have a choice on the bottom of the screen to save into different formats. i.e. PICT, JPEG, TIFF, etc. You want to choose JPEG.
6. After you pick JPEG you will need to type in a new name for the title of your play at the top of the screen. ******It is important that you add .JPG to the end of the name given to the file. For example: midline.JPG
7. You will need to use an image hosting site on the internet.
I use www.putfile.com
8. Once you have registered for putfile you then go to "upload pictures".
9. After you click on the upload pictures link, it will bring up a screen that shows what you have on your computer. desktop, files, etc. It will automatically show all file that have the (.JPG) symbols behind them.
10. After you find the jpeg image that you want uploaded, click on the little white box in the upper left hand corner of the image and then click on send.
11. After the image up loads a putfile screen will show the image and all the other images you have up loaded. There will be three addresses next to the image: URL, BB, and HTML. You will want to copy the BB address.
12. Once you have the BB address copied, paste it into your post on the message board. You can click on Preview to see if you jpeg is going to post.
***If this does not work for you, let me know I can try and explain it better or give more precise directions. I hope we can get more pictures posted because I see better than I can envision what a coach is talking about.
